Shopping and Entertainment Centre Bruklinas opened in Siauliai, LITHUANIA

On the 23d of December, 2007, the Entertainment and Shopping Centre Bruklinas with the first ice-rink in Siauliai City was opened.
New York, famous with its bohemia, is moving to Siauliai. Bruklinas (by Brooklyn) is the city where people excelling with their ideas and enthusiasm live, create and entertain.
The first fast-food restaurant „Hesburger“, the pizzeria „Brodvėjaus pica“, the Lithuanian cuisine restaurant „Forto Dvaras“, the pizzeria „Čili pica“, the nine-lane bowling „Bruklino boulingas“, an ice-rink, a solarium, a beauty salon, a kid‘s playing room, the first erotic night club as well as more than 130 shops – starting with the biggest home appliances’ store in Siauliai “Topo centras”, children’s goods stores „Vaikų miestas“ and „Toy‘s market“, fashion shops „Mosaic“, „Kenvelo“, „Effigy“, „Deep“, „Big star“, „Bags4You“, „Žygio batai“, sports goods shops „100%sport“ and „Neto sport“ and ending with the most Brookline anchor „Hyper Norfa“ food super market – have started their activity in „Bruklinas“.

According to Arunas Zemaitis, Chairman of the Board of OGMIOS GROUP, „Bruklinas“ is going to be the new centre not only of Siauliai city, but also of the whole region.
A nine-storey hotel and modern business centre building is to be opened above the shopping centre in 2008, as well as a DIY centre and interior, home decoration and furniture gallery next to it. By the year 2009, an extension with 3 cinema halls for 500 people is to be built.
The total area of buildings of the City within the City occupying a 9 ha territory will make about 60 thous. sq.m. The developers OGMIOS REAL ESTATE and RIVONA have already invested more than 20 mln. euro into the first stage of the project consisting of the entertainment and shopping centre and the business centre above it.
